Hot rolled (HR)

Hot rolled steel is the carbon steel sheet which produced by hot rolling process (rolling mills) that normally starts from semi-finished casting products, such as slab. Steel slab usually 100 mm thick is rolled into coil to the thickness of 1.00 – 13.00 mm so-call hot-rolled coil or black coil. However, the coil must be sheared or cut to the width and length according to the final users. Hot rolled coil is one of the essential raw materials for many industries such as Cold Rolled Steel, Coated Steel, Piping, Automobile industry, Electrical industry and Steel Furniture.
